I just watched what was possibly the slickest and best animated film to come out of the WB.
Green Lantern: First flight is a about an hour and twenty minutes of action packed fun and decent voice acting.
BUT- It does have some very big problems, mainly the origin of Hal Jordan and his character development.
There is a big hole in how the main character becomes what he is and how he gets used to his powers
or even how is powers…

What can I say besides "It has alot of special effects" and "it's sometimes entertaining"
Is it a good movie? NO- the story is nonsense, you never feel like it's real or honest. You feel like your watching someone tell an elaborate lie to cover up the simple truth that the story is lame.
The battles are over the top and full of big toys, which is fine for a transformers movie, but the design and animations of the transformers make it hard to tell who's who and whats going…

The trades have Reynolds locked in as the studios choice.
IMO- he's ok... He's already been in Blade and Wolverine as comic characters, now the 3rd times the charm - even tho hes got a Deadpool spinoff in the works. I think Comic-book movies have been to the Reynolds Buffet one time too many... I guess the dude really wants a franchise. Let see what happens...

The Green Lantern is casting and they are looking for Hal Jordan.
So far Justin Timberlake, Bradley Cooper, and Ryan Reynolds have auditioned.
As for me? There are a few B-listers that I'd consider.
Jenson Ackles from Supernatural.
Balthazar Getty
Joseph Gordon Levitt
Ryan Quantan from True Blood
Justin Hartley- I think he's miscast as Green Arrow
Anyhow- I think Cooper's a good pick, I cant really think of many…

I draw Diana different every time. I can't seem to get her definitive look down, however I did like this pose.

Alright fine, I haven't posted any art in a few days. I've been a couch potato catching up on my Netflix.
I downloaded this Sci-fi show I've Never heard of called Sanctuary. It's a pretty mediocre show that pretty much is
a clone or amalgam of Hellboy, BPRD, Perhapanauts or Proof- and if you wanna go back that far X-files.
Ripoff city? Maybe. It's a bit watered down. But here's the skinny:
It's about an Old lady immortal…

Most people don't even know this movie came out- so i thought I'd mention it.
For a direct to DVD movie I quite liked this movie...Sure it has some WTF nonsense, but I did enjoy it.
It's a re-invention of Beowulf about a crash-landed warrior-hero fighting off an alien beast in the place of Grendel.
The effects were not too shabby and the acting was decent. The story, though very predictable, was handled well.
It never got…

I mean really- Somebody needs to take that challenge!
It's been a dream of mine to direct a giant monster movie, some
people say it can't be done in a non-cheezy way, I disagree!
And don't you dare bring up that lousy, soul-less American movie
starring an iguana with writing so bad, it actually made you wish
for a cheesy 60 rubber suit movie.
We need the terror of cloverfield- mixed with a great special…

Look, admittedly I'm a Marvel guy. They seemed to have the most sensible roster, better names, and costumes for their heroes. Spider-man and Captain America look nothing alike, neither have capes. Superman AND Batman's suits are very similar right down to the underwear on the outside of their pants.
But those are not even the biggest problems with DC. DC doesn't seem to care about its fans, or whether their books make any freaking sense. I mean, how many times can the Teen Titans…

At Heroes Con, a guy wanted to buy my "Not for sale" Batman headshot. (I needed it for display)
He came back a few times and I finally caved and sold it to him.
Well, now I was out a cool Batman head, so I attempted to draw another one to replace it.
This one is completely different. You can compare the new one to the old below. ( the old one is in a group shot of my table at Heroes)
older…
