Legendary Pictures. the guys who did Dark Knight, 300, and Watchmen are in talks to do another Godzilla.
Lets keep him supernatural and scary- a demon like vessel of those who died in Hiroshima.
Get as far away from a dinosaur as you can- be creative and keep the soul of the original.
And most important, Godzilla needs an adversary to fight! Bring on Mechagodz… Continue
So I went to the movies to see GI JOE...
I have to say it was entertaining and probably Sommers' best film.
I always thought his movies were always too cartoony, and cast terribly. (WHAT IS HE THINKING WITH BRENDAN FRAISER?) With GI JOE, it kind of works in his favor - this is a movie to sell toys to 10 year old boys who play Xbox and it does it well. Save fo… Continue

I just watched what was possibly the slickest and best animated film to come out of the WB.
Green Lantern: First flight is a about an hour and twenty minutes of action packed fun and decent voice acting.
BUT- It does have some very big problems, mainly the origin of Hal Jordan and his character development.
There is a big hole in how the main… Continue

What can I say besides "It has alot of special effects" and "it's sometimes entertaining"
Is it a good movie? NO- the story is nonsense, you never feel like it's real or honest. You feel like your watching someone tell an elaborate lie to cover up the simple truth that the story is lame.
The battles are over the top and full of big toys, which is fine for a transformers movie, but the design and animations of the transformers make it hard to tell who's who and whats going on. If they stuck to… Continue

The trades have Reynolds locked in as the studios choice.
IMO- he's ok... He's already been in Blade and Wolverine as comic characters, now the 3rd times the charm - even tho hes got a Deadpool spinoff in the works. I think Comic-book movies have been to the Reynolds Buffet one time too many... I guess the dude really wants a franchise. Let see what happens... Continue

The Green Lantern is casting and they are looking for Hal Jordan.
So far Justin Timberlake, Bradley Cooper, and Ryan Reynolds have auditioned.
As for me? There are a few B-listers that I'd consider.
Jenson Ackles from Supernatural.
Balthazar Getty
Joseph Gordon Levitt
Ryan Quantan from True Blood
Justin Hartley- I think he's miscast as Green Arrow
Anyhow- I think Cooper's a good pick, I cant really think of many leading actors with bigger names stepping in.
Maybe Paul Walker? Continue

Alright fine, I haven't posted any art in a few days. I've been a couch potato catching up on my Netflix.
I downloaded this Sci-fi show I've Never heard of called Sanctuary. It's a pretty mediocre show that pretty much is
a clone or amalgam of Hellboy, BPRD, Perhapanauts or Proof- and if you wanna go back that far X-files.
Ripoff city? Maybe. It's a bit watered down. But here's the skinny:… Continue

Most people don't even know this movie came out- so i thought I'd mention it.
For a direct to DVD movie I quite liked this movie...Sure it has some WTF nonsense, but I did enjoy it.
It's a re-invention of Beowulf about a crash-landed warrior-hero fighting off an alien beast in the place of Grendel.
The effects were not too shabby and the acting was decent. The story, though ver… Continue

I mean really- Somebody needs to take that challenge!
It's been a dream of mine to direct a giant monster movie, some
people say it can't be done in a non-cheezy way, I disagree!
And don't you dare bring up that lousy, soul-less American movie
starring an iguana with writing so bad, i… Continue
