What can I say besides "It has alot of special effects" and "it's sometimes entertaining"

Is it a good movie? NO- the story is nonsense, you never feel like it's real or honest. You feel like your watching someone tell an elaborate lie to cover up the simple truth that the story is lame.

The battles are over the top and full of big toys, which is fine for a transformers movie, but the design and animations of the transformers make it hard to tell who's who and whats going on. If they stuck to the simpler and more iconic designs of the toys, it would be much easier to read and enjoy. When you have that much sensory overload you cant really focus and it becomes a mind numbing task for the audience to figure out if they should really care about anything that happens.

There is so much crammed in to certain parts that you miss alot or don't care to listen, then there are parts that are way too decompressed like the desert, that seem to drag on without any exposition. Its unbalanced at best.

Megatron gets maybe like 3 minutes of screen time, in fact all of the robots are just decorations or weapons with no real life to them.

The acting is on par with the first movie ( which I also had problems with) -Le Beouf and Fox are decent together.
The writers were able to cram a few decent lines into what was mostly a mess. Bay was smart enough to leave them in so, that's a credit to him (I guess).

So my final word is- If you need to see effects and crap blowing up- see it i guess.
If you don't give a crap about explosions- you'll hate it.
