OUTLANDER MOVIE

Most people don't even know this movie came out- so i thought I'd mention it.
For a direct to DVD movie I quite liked this movie...Sure it has some WTF nonsense, but I did enjoy it.

It's a re-invention of Beowulf about a crash-landed warrior-hero fighting off an alien beast in the place of Grendel.
The effects were not too shabby and the acting was decent. The story, though very predictable, was handled well.
It never got overly cheesy, or over the top with gore, but it came close a few times.

If you like Sci-fi, monsters and vikings this could be up your alley.
